COMMUNITY SUPPORT ARTS AND CULTURE COALITION 2026 GRANTS

Description:

  1. You may apply for up to 30% of your annual operating budget.
    a) Please note there is a set amount of funding from the City of Steamboat Springs (The City) each year to be split between all applicants. YVCF will provide the total projected allocation amount to applicants if that information is available.
    b) A resolution passed by the City does not allow for the allocation committee to fund anything beyond your requested amount.

  2. You may contact greg@yvcf.org for your past request and funding history dating back to 2016.

  3. Interviews for the grant take place after the submission deadline of the grant. Interviews are conducted by a committee of community members. Interviews last up to 20 minutes and include time for the organization to provide an update of their activities over the previous year, why they are asking for the grant, and time for the committee to ask questions.
    a) Recommendations regarding allocations take place immediately following the last interview. Recommendations made by the allocation committee are final.
    b) You may submit a video, images, music or a slideshow as part of your interview process. These documents must emailed to greg@yvcf.org to be included in public record with interview minutes.

  4. If you have questions or concerns regarding this grant, they must be expressed prior to submission of your grant.

  5. Allocations are submitted to the City. The City makes final decisions on the allocations during a City Council meeting in December. Once approved by the City, allocation letters are sent to recipients.
    a) Grants in the amount of $10,000 or less will be paid out in one payment when the Final Report is received or by January 30th whichever is later.
    b) Grants greater than $10,000 will be paid out in two equal installments. The first payment will be paid when the Final Report is received or by January 30th, whichever is later and the second payment will be paid by July 31st or when the prior year Final Report is received, whichever is later.
